Description
Observations and recording during the trench excavations for drainage, for the enabling works stage for drill-rig platforms in the allotments area and at the cliff edge. No significant archaeology was observed or recorded during the monitoring of service trenches. The archaeological monitoring of the Church Cliff to ensure that any disarticulated human remains extant along Church Cliff were collected and returned for reburial at St. Michaels Church was completed as required. There were no human remains or grave furniture observed or recorded at the time of the archaeological inspection.
