Description
Evaluation of the approximately 4.7 hectare site consisted of the digging by machine of thirteen trenches each measuring 30m by 1.8m. A planned fourteenth trench in the northern field could not be dug because it fell within an exclusion zone around a badger sett. No finds or features of archaeological significance were encountered. A linear feature excavated and recorded in Trench 10 was not thought to be archaeological in origin.
