Description

Evaluation by AC Archaeelogy on behalf of Terence O'Rourke Ltd. Intended excavation of eight trenches but three were omitted due to on-site constraints. All five trenches measured 30 x 1.75m targeting anomalies identified in the geophysical survey. Linear gullies, ditches and pits found and considered to be Late Iron Age and Romano-British, however they were unexcavated. Fired clay from Trench 1 suggesting a hut or similar structure.
