Description

A site visit was made to view groundworks for a new stable in a location near to the suggested course of the Roman aqueduct to Dorchester. The terrace indicating the line of the aqueduct could be seen to east and west of the construction site, and the aqueduct was seen to lie at least 5m to the south of the most southerly point of the construction site.
