Description

Observations and recording by British Gas archaeologists on gas pipeline from Wisbech in Cambridgeshire to Mappowder in Dorset. Probable Romano-British settlement site consisting of pits and post holes with pottery, quern fragments, bone, oysters and a whetstone, noted in a gas pipeline trench.
