Description

NRHE: Magnetometer survey of 14.5 ha NW of the Shapwick road showed extensive RB settlement. At least 5 property divisions on each side of a road which leads to the SW entrance of the fort (ST90SW33) appear. Four ring ditches may be the sites of round barrows.
