Description

This barrow was excavated in 1938 by S and C M Piggott, who found that the mound had been disturbed, presumably by antiquarian investigation. The Piggotts found evidence that the barrow had contained a primary inhumation burial associated with a small long-necked beaker. They recorded the mound as 25 feet in diameter and one foot high.
