Description

NRHE: This site is probably one of SMR numbers 0030-0036. This excavation is detailed in Cunnington MSS No: 26 which is held in the Museum Library. See also NAR No: SY 78 SW 23. A barrow in this area was opened by Edward Cunnington, who found a cremation in an urn in a cist.
