Description
This round barrow on the northern side of Warren Hill, Hengistbury Head was excavated by H St George Gray in August 1919. The barrow had been disturbed by earlier unrecorded excavations and by rabbits. No burials or pottery was recovered, but these are likely to have been removed by the early barrow-diggers. A quantity of worked flint including cores and flakes was recovered from the barrow. (1)
