Description

NRHE: Trenches were examined at various points between these grid references (SZ 01709900 to SZ 01709866). E C Chancellor FSA examined a deep trench along this line but could see no sign of the Roman road found by C D Drew. Dates given 1/1/1900 to 31/12/1900. No source cited.
