Description

Two areas of proposed landfill were examined by field walking and trial trench excavation. The first area at ST 9280 0785 a few surface finds and only a thin layer of hillwash were found. In the second area at ST 9175 0875 a similar layer of undated hillwash was recorded. A small mound within the area proved to be of no great antiquity.
