Description

‘Observations and recording during ground reduction in stages by 2.5 to 3.5m. Investigations nearby had indicated undisturbed Holocene soil deposits, raising the possibility of archaeological deposits on the site. No such features or finds were found during the mechanical reduction process and there were no traces of earlier land surfaces below the Head deposits.’
