Description

A trench evaluation comprising six machine-dug trenches, each 15 metres by 1.5 metres. A shallow gully was recorded in Trench 2. This feature could not be dated, though its orientation was thought possibly to suggest that it was a drainage feature. Observations and recording during excavation of nine geotechnical test pits did not identify any finds or features of archaeological origin.
