Description

Observations and recording during groundworks for a new industrial building with a footprint of 14m by 11m. The monitored area proved to be much disturbed, the southern part particularly, possibly during digging of a cutting for the former Easton and Church Ope railway. The rest of the monitored area had been disturbed to a depth of at least one metre. No archaeological deposits or features were recorded.
