Description

Observations and recording during excavation of new service trenches for the installation of two livestock watering troughs. Approximately 150m of new service trench 0.2m wide and 0.75m deep was excavated adjacent to the Visitor Centre. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified. A small collection of struck flint was noted.
