Description

Three trenches, each measuring approximately 35m by 1.8m, were dug to investigate anomalies identified in a geophysical survey. Two ditches and part of a shallow pit were recorded. One of the ditches was dated to the Late Iron Age/Romano-British period, though it was noted that neither appeared to be aligned in relation to the nearby Roman road.
