Description

Observations and recording during hand excavation around the base of a telecommunications tower in connection with works to strengthen the tower. A limited area was exposed, not sufficient to inform on the construction of the barrow. No satellite burials or other features were observed. A small collection of unstratified struck flint was recovered.
