Description

Excavation to further explore features identified during evaluation. These included an area of probable occupation comprising several pits and a ditch; no dating evidence could be found. A lynchet had cut through the possible enclosure ditch. Elsewhere, a large pit was interpreted as a probable quarry, undated.
