Description
An evaluation comprising the machine-excavation of four trenches in the most low-lying part of the site of a proposed racehorse training establishment. All the trenches revealed colluvial deposits over natural chalk, at a depth of 1.75m at its deepest. No archaeological finds or features were recorded.
