Description

A desk-based assessment was carried out prior to redevelopment of the site. It comprised an examination of evidence in the Dorset Historic Environment Record, of published and unpublished material and charted historic land use of the site. The assessment found that site levelling in the 1930s had removed its archaeological potential and concluded that no further investigation was required.
