Description
Area G19 forms a detailed gradiometer survey area, part of the larger geophysical survey undertaken along the route of a new water supply main between the Wessex Water works at Corfe Mullen, Dorset to Camp Hill Storage Tank near Salisbury, Wiltshire.
No probable archaeology was found in area G19.
Possible archaeology is represented by several positive area and linear anomalies indicative of former cut features which may be of archaeological origin (Anomalies 312-318) and a single magnetic spike, probably associated with ferrous debris (Anomaly 319).
The record for this event has been created with support from Wessex Water.
