Description

Analysis of sources combined with detailed inspection of the external fabric of the north wall of the choir, the north choir aisle and adjoining parts of the Lady Chapel and St Michael's Loft indicate that most of the architectural detail is of 19th-century date and that original details appear to survive only on the elevations of the Lady Chapel and St Michael's Loft.
