Description

An archaeological evaluation comprising six trenches, five 30m by 1.6m and the sixth 35m x 1.6m. The trenches were excavated by machine under archaeological supervision. Where appropriate, trenches were cleaned by hand and any features sampled to determine their extent and nature, and to retrieve finds and environmental samples.
