Description
Supplementary work to further evaluate the archaeology of Area B, comprising two additional trenches excavated by mechanical excavator. A linear ditch or gully was recorded, and flint including a core of possible Mesolithic date. These finds were felt to indicate the probability of discrete archaeological features being found across the site, outside the area of archaeological significance identified by earlier work.
