Description
A fluxgate gradiometer survey was undertaken of a former school playing field as part of an archaeological assessment by AC archaeology in advance of proposed development. The geophysical survey revealed that the site wa subject to severe magnetic disturbance from a number of sources, which will have masked anomalies produced by archaeological remains. No responses suggesting the presence of archaeological features were observed in the data. (1)
