Description

Observations and recording by the East Dorset Antiquarian Society during the building of two houses. The footings for one were dug in June 1996, and the other in June 1997. There was no sign of prehistoric or medieval archaeology inside the foundation trenches. Finds consisted of 17th century glass and pottery sherds, and some metal from farm machinery.
