Description

The area of the watching brief measured approximately 17 x 34 metres and was excavated for the foundations of a new building. The depth of excavsation was 1.5 metres below ground but an elevator shaft of 2.5 x 2.5 metre located at the center of the hangars west side was excavated to a depth of 2 metres.
