Description
Anecdotal report (resulting from a conversation between John Day of the East Dorset Antiquarian Society and Mr K Box of Holt, a builder) of the finding of hundreds of broken clay pipes at basement level during building works in the 1970s. The pipes were covered up by the builders.
In 1997 the building was used by the Department of Health and Social Security. The site location at present is the central point of the lane.
