Description

A historic building assessment of a building and boundary wall in Trinity Lane (adjacent to 33 West Street) was carried out by AC archaeology. The building was constructed between 1826 and 1886, possibly as a cart or trap store or barn, possibly originally built in stone and later rebuilt in brick. The much-repaired boundary wall could not be positively dated, but may mark a property boundary of some antiquity. The wall is likely to include original construction from this early period, but much is likely to be of nineteenth or twentieth-century construction.
