Description

Border Archaeology conducted an archaeological watching brief during redevelopment of the Southern Electricity Depot, High Street, Shaftesbury in 2001. Two early post-medieval refuse pits, one containing a near perfect Bellarmine jug were excavated along with a series of late post-medieval lime mortar bonded stone walls and cellars. [1]
