Description

Wessex Archaeology undertook an archaeological desk-based assessment of the site of St Anthony’s Convent, Sherborne during 1997. The assessment demonstrated that there are no known archaeological remains within the proposed development area that could be considered a major constraint to development. However, the potential exists for the survival of Roman or medieval remains on the site (1).
