Description
Christopher Sparey Green observed an exposure of chalk rubble rising toward the modern surface towards the south and covered and backed by a layer of loamy soil, in Icen Way, outside Culliford House, Dorchester. This has been interpreted as the tail of the bank of the Roman Town defences.
