Description

D Markell directed trial excavations in 1975 at the rear of 24-26 High Street, Christchurch. This revealed 19th century Layers and a dump of late 19th-early 20th century storage vessels. These were hard and well fired with a flower-pot profile: height 344mm; width (top) 390mm; width (bottom) 270mm.
