EDO4912 - Quay Cottage, 6 Quay Road, Christchurch; observations and recording 1995

Archaeological observations during the excavation of footings trenches at 6 Quay Road, Christchurch, were carried out by AC Archaeology on behalf of clients of the Blunden White Partnership on 9 February 1995. Observations included the noting of a layer interpreted as a deliberately-laid build-up layer of post-medieval date. At the levels encountered, the boulders did not form any recognisable pattern or structure, and nor did any of the pieces appear to have been worked.
