Description

A watching brief was undertaken by Christopher Sparey Green in 1964 during the construction of a warehouse for South Western Farmers Ltd. A number of ditches and pits including a number of Late Neolithic pits containing Grooved Ware sherds and some Middle Bronze Age boundary ditches. The results of the watching brief have been published together with the results from the adjacent Poundbury Site C excavations (1).
