Description

The Royal Commission on Historical Monuments conducted an architectural survey of 40 High East Street, Dorchester on the 24 February 1995 (1). Shop, possibly built in the 19th century, a datestone of 1762 was found. The building is of brown brick with side walls of Ridgeway or Portland rubble and it has a slate roof (2). 40 High East Street, Dorchester is a Grade II Listed Building.
