Description
Cellar to the former Mock Turtle Restaurant at 34 High West Street, Dorchester was visited by Val Dicker and David Ashford. A brief sketch plan and photographs of salient features were taken.
It was a complex-shaped cellar with bow to street frontage. There was a stair in SE corner and possible passage in NE corner. Stone flag floor. Timbers with traces of lath and plaster ceiling. Fireplaces in NW corner and in W side of bow.
