Description

A series of enclosures strung along two parallel lines and covering about 24 acres of the almost flat top of a broad ridge, centred SY 673893, are visible as crop marks on air photographs. The site was surveyed by 'J.G.B' of the Ordnance Survey Archaeological Division on the 12 September 1980. His field notes are recorded on the OS record card as follows: Nothing visible; the area has been intensively ploughed. [1]
