Description

Laurence Keen, of John Stark and Crickmay Partnership, conducted a watching brief on a geotechnical trench dug against a ground floor extension to the rear of 19 North Square in early August 2002. The trench was c.1.95m long N-S and 1.36m wide E-W. No archaeological features of medieval or earlier periods were observed. The area had been greatly disturbed during the post-medieval period.
