Description

An archaeological watching brief, conducted by AC Archaeology during November 2005, monitored the excavation of a cable trench close to the former line of the western Roman town wall along West Walks and Albert Road. Where observed, the shallow cable trench revealed only previously disturbed ground with no evidence for pre-modern activity.
