Description
A group of post holes excavated by the National Trust during archaeological work ahead of planting a new avenue of beech trees parallel to the original avenue. The holes formed the plan of a round house 6.5m in diameter with a porch on the south-east side. Pottery from one of the holes indicated a Bronze Age date.
