Description
'Four barrows form part of the Launceston Down South Group, the rest of which is in Tarrant Launceston (Dorset IV, 107). They were excavated This barrow was excavated in 1938 by S and C M Piggott who found a cremation in a central pit with sherds of a cinerary urn in the surrounding soil.
