Description

A corn-drying oven was found during construction of a silage clamp during the summer of 1992. Peter Woodward recorded the feature and took soil samples to be analysed for the presence of mollusca and macroscopic plant remains. Human skeletal material was also noted. It would appear that the main settlement focus lies to the North of the present discoveries.
