8/39 The Royal Oak

Public House, c 1800. Stone walls, roughcast. Slate roof with a tile ridge. C20 brick stacks at gable ends and left hand gable extension. Main structure: 2 storeys, 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars. Middle-upper window, blocked sash. Front door at centre, hood with flush and recess panelling. Wooden door surround, C20. C20 extension at left hand, lower, but also of 2 storeys and 2 bays. Modern bay window. Interior does not survive.
