SY 59 SE LITTON CHENEY LITTON CHENEY VILLAGE 4/141 Brewery Cottage, 5-9-60 (formerly listed as Barges Farmhouse) GV II Cottage, and attached former brewery. c.Late C18. Chalk block (north gable end) and rubble stone walls. Thatch roof. Brick stacks at left hand gable, and C20 at right hand gable. 2 storeys. 2 windows, 3-light wooden casements in original pegged wooden frames. Leaded lights. Centre opening lights, cast-iron. Wooden lintels over ground floor. Front door at right hand, flush-panelled with a wooden frame, C19. Very simple trellis-porch. Attached brewery at right hand. Coursed rubble stone walls. Slate roof, hipped at right hand. 2 storeys. 3 windows, 2- and 3-light wooden casements with lead lights. Wooden cills and stone lintels. Door, plank and 2-leaf at right hand.
