Two attached Cottages. c.C16 core with C18 re-fashioning. Rubble- stone walls, painted. Thatch roof. Brick stacks at left hand party wall and right hand party. 2 storeys. 3 windows, 2- and 3- light wooden casements with glazing-bars, wooden cills and lintels, C20 renewals. Doors: no 76, plank and muntin, C20. No 77, plank with wooden frame, C20. Interior: roof-trusses are remains of jointed-cruck construction. One set of through-purlins, renewed. Ash-pole rafters. Reed -and plaster ceilings. RCHM Dorset I, p 60(5).
