HIGH EAST STREET 1. 5191 (North Side) No 41 SY 6990 7/235 II GV 2. Mid C19. Portland hammer dressed stone. 2 storeys. Moulded eaves cornice. 2 sashes with keystones on 1st floor. Good C19 wooden public house front with flanking pilasters taking entablature, double doors with fanlight and window with arched glazing bars. Nos 35 to 43 (consec), and No 39A and 39B, and Arch between Nos 40 and 41 and British Legion Headquarters form a group.
