Description
LONG STREET 1. 1625 (North-West Side) Glenville. Long Street Post Office.
ST 6416 2/273 II GV 2.
Mid to later C19. 2 storeys and attic. 3 window bays. Slate gabled roof. 3 gabled dormers. Rendered front. Stone plinth. Sash windows with frames; horizontal glazing bars missing. Glenville has round-headed doorway; plain fanlight, 4-flush panelled door. Post Office has small plate glass shop front with fascia, cornice and small voluted brackets.
The Red House, Grey Lodge, Forecourt walls and railings to The Red House, The White Cottage, Wall railings and gate to The White Cottage, Eastbury House, including carriage entrance to east and garden wall to west, Elizabeth House, Bracondale, Nos 1 and 2 Cedar Cottages, The Cedars, Garden wall adjoining The Cedars on the west side, Corby House, Mason Gill, Glenville and Long Street Post Office form a group.
