LONG STREET 1. 1625 (North-West Side) Corby House
ST 6416 2/147 II GV 2.
C19. High 3 storey 3 window stucco front. Eaves have modillion blocks to soffit. Sash windows with glazing bars removed. Moulded architraves. Band. Doorway has architrave and cornice on enriched console brackets; 4-panelled door with rectangular fanlight over. 1 bay addition to right hand with lower frontage and in slight recession. Sash windows in reveals. To left hand on ground floor; 6-panelled door with rectangular fanlight.
The Red House, Grey Lodge, Forecourt walls and railings to The Red House, The White Cottage, Wall railings and gate to The White Cottage, Eastbury House, including carriage entrance to east and garden wall to west, Elizabeth House, Bracondale, Nos 1 and 2 Cedar Cottages, The Cedars, Garden wall adjoining The Cedars on the west side, Corby House, Mason Gill, Glenville and Long Street Post Office form a group.
