Description
SEYMER ROAD 1. 5190 (east side) Durlston Cottage SZ 0378 SW 5/138 II
2. Believed to have originated as a lime-buyer's cottage. Main building now appears only C19 (shown on Tithe Map). Two storeys. Rendered walls. Low pitched slate roof. Two canted bay windowon each floor, with double-hung sashes. Central doorway with semi-circular head and fanlight. Six-panel door. All details similar to those of Seymer Place. Remains of old lime kilns at the rear. RCHM Monument 53.
